BenQ Mobiuz EX3415R packs a 34-inch IPS panel and 144Hz refresh rate

BenQ has briefly put the product page of the upcoming BenQ Mobiuz EX3415R online, but it has since been removed. Nonetheless, it was online long enough to be stored in Google's cache, giving us “early access” to its specifications.

The BenQ Mobiuz features a 34-inch panel (21:9) with a 1900R curvature, 3440x1440p resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 2ms G2G response time (1ms MPRT). The IPS panel has an 8-bit colour depth, a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and up to 400nits of brightness, resulting in a DCI-P3 wide colour gamut coverage of 98%.

The EX3415R monitor supports AMD FreeSync Premium technology to reduce tearing while gaming and is certified as a DisplayHDR400 display. It also employs BenQ's own HDR technology: HDRi. Based on the ambient light conditions and on-screen content, this technology adjusts the monitor for the best HDR experience. Besides featuring multiple colour presets to choose from, it also has a racing mode to deliver “a wide field of view, sharp visuals, and smooth lighting effects”.

Other features include Black eQualizer to brighten up darker areas, and Light Tuner for brightness control, Quick OSD for ease of access to monitor settings, Scenario Mapping to save Quick OSD presets depending on the input, PbP for multitasking, and Eye-Care for a more comfortable viewing experience.

This monitor features a built-in 2.1 sound system with a couple of 2W speakers and a 5W subwoofer, powered by treVolo. There's also a 3.5mm audio jack, a DisplayPort 1.4, 2x HDMI 2.0 ports for connectivity purposes, and a remote controller to conveniently “switch between windows and adjust game and sound modes”. The included stand provides tilt, swivel, and height adjustment capabilities, but users can also use a monitor arm with VESA 100x100mm support if they want to further improve ergonomics.
