Thermaltake launches new ToughRAM memory kits for RGB enthusiasts

Thermaltake is expanding its line-up of memory this month with new ToughRAM XG RGB modules, intended for those who prefer “unconventional gaming styled ram modules”. The standard ToughRAM RGB modules are also getting a fresh coat of paint, with new red and metallic gold modules.

Thermaltake ToughRAM XG RGB will be available in 16GB kits, with speeds ranging from 3600MHz to 4600MHz. Featuring tightly screened ICs and 10-layer PCBs made with 2oz copper to offer the best performance, ToughRAM XG RGB memory comes with a uniquely designed aluminium heat spreader to offer a unique look to any build. Each module has 16 RGB LEDs and 8 RGB zones that can be configured and synchronised through TT RGB Plus, Razer Chroma, Amazon Alexa, Asus Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, Gigabyte RGB Fusion 2.0, and ASRock Polychrome Sync.

The new red and metallic gold Thermaltake ToughRAM RGB will only be available in 3600MHz 16GB kits. These modules have slightly better RGB capabilities, with 10 RGB LEDs per unit. Just like ToughRAM XG, these modules are made with 10-layer PCBs and RGB can be synchronised through TT RGB Plus, Razer Chroma, Amazon Alexa, and most motherboards RGB software.

Thermaltake ToughRAM XG RGB memory is available starting this month, with prices starting at $169.99. The new red and metallic gold ToughRAM RGB memory kits are also available, priced at $154.99 and $159.99 respectively.
