Monster Hunter Rise is getting a new demo, Monster Hunter Stories 2 coming in July

We're just a couple of weeks away from the Nintendo Switch's next big exclusive – Monster Hunter Rise. Ahead of the launch later this month, Capcom will be releasing a new version of the demo with a new quest in place.

Monster Hunter Rise is a timed exclusive for the Nintendo Switch, with plans for a PC version in 2022. Those planning to pick up the Switch version on March 26th can get started early, as a new demo for the game is releasing on the 11th of March. This will contain the content from the original demo in addition to a new quest, which will send players off to fight a Magnamalos.

If you're really into Monster Hunter, then there is also another game in the franchise coming out this year. Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin has been announced for the 9th of July.

Just like Monster Hunter Rise, this spin-off sequel will only be available on Nintendo Switch for the time being. Plans for other platforms have not been announced at this time.
