Razer’s new Kraken V3 X headset upgrades audio and brings RGB lighting

Razer has updated its Kraken X headset for 2021, bringing improved features. The new Kraken V3 X comes equipped with Razer's TriForce 40mm drivers, a ‘Hyperclear' microphone and improved materials for better comfort for long gaming sessions.

The Razer Kraken V3 X promises to deliver an “all-rounded gaming experience”. The headset itself weighs just about 285g and features a “trio of design elements” – hybrid fabric and memory foam ear cushions, soft headband padding, and measured fit to provide long-lasting comfort. Under the ear cushions you will find Razer's patented TriForce 40mm drivers, which are capable of delivering 7.1 virtual surround sound for an extra boost to immersion.

As for the microphone, Razer added a bendable Hyperclear cardioid microphone with noise cancellation, ensuring clear communication and good sensibility.

The Kraken V3 X is Razer's “most affordable headset powered by Razer Chroma RGB”, featuring over 16.8M colours to choose from. Through Razer Chroma Studio, the RGB lighting can be customised and with Chroma Visualiser, RGB lighting can change based on what you are doing, whether it be playing games, listening to music or watching a movie.

Backed by a 2-year warranty, the Razer Kraken V3 X are available now for £69.99/$69.99/€79.99.

KitGuru says: With a good set of features and accessible pricing, the Razer Kraken V3 X may set a new standard for entry-level headsets. Have you ever owned a Razer headset? Will you be considering the Kraken V3 X for your next upgrade?
