We're still a week away from the release of AMD's Radeon RX 6700 XT graphics card, but some new benchmark leaks have given us an early idea of what performance to expect in OpenCL and Vulkan games.
Two Geekbench 5 database entries were spotted by @TUM_APISAK. The benchmarks were run on a system equipped with an AMD Ryzen 3700X and 32GB of RAM clocked at 3000MHz. These entries also confirm the RX 6700 XT's maximum boost clock, with the GPU hitting 2.85GHz.

In the Vulkan tests, the RX 6700 XT scored 55,278 points, which is unexpectedly low compared to the RTX 3060Ti's 95,906 points – a 73% performance advantage. In OpenCL, however, the RX 6700 XT is much closer to the performance level expected, scoring 102,831 points, although it does still lose out to the RTX 3060Ti with 120,619 points.
The Radeon RX 6700 XT is launching on the 18th of March, featuring 40 CUs (2560 stream processors), 40 Ray Accelerators, and a boost frequency of up to 2581MHz. This GPU will come with 96MB of Infinity Cache and 12GB of GDDR6 memory across a 192-bit memory bus and a TBP of 230W.
KitGuru says: These are still early benchmarks on pre-release drivers, so we'll still need to wait for launch day reviews to get the full story on RX 6700 XT performance.
