AMD Nashira Point and Nashira Creek XM GPUs spotted – first hint of RDNA 3?

AMD is currently fleshing out the RX 6000 series of GPUs based on RDNA 2, but as we know, RDNA 3 is already on the way. We may have our first hint towards RDNA 3 this week, with a notable leaker finding references to multiple “Nashira” GPUs.

Roland Quandt of WinFuture has found references to a Nashira Point “consumer gaming” GPU, we well as a number of other SKUs including Nashira Point XTX, Nashira Point XT, Nashira Point XL, Nashira Point GLXTA, Nashira Point GLXL and Nashira Creek XM.

The codename ‘Nashira' has been floating around for a while, having appeared on the USB-IF database and in an Ashes of the Singularity benchmark. However, no other details have been shared aside from codenames.

It is unclear what GPUs these are, but these codenames could be referring to additional RX 6000 graphics cards, or they could be early mentions of AMD's next-gen GPUs, which are in development. According to AMD's roadmap, RDNA 3 graphics cards will be coming in 2022.

KitGuru says: Are any of you planning on skipping the current generation of GPUs to wait and see what RDNA 3 brings to the table?
