Gigabyte lists multiple RTX 3080 Ti graphics cards at EEC

The first time Gigabyte submitted RTX 3080 Ti cards to EEC was in December 2020, back when the rumoured specifications of the SKU pointed to it featuring 20GB of VRAM. Since then, Nvidia has changed the specifications of the RTX 3080 Ti, leading Gigabyte to submit the cards once again to reflect the reported 12GB memory buffer featured in the SKU.

The submission made by Gigabyte to EEC has been spotted by @KOMACHI_ENSAKA, revealing that the company has submitted 12 models of the RTX 3080 Ti and a CMP 30HX mining card (GV-N30HXD6-6G). By analysing the product codes, we can preview the RTX 3080 Ti models Gigabyte is preparing to launch.

The following table lists the graphics card model associated with the respective product code:

Product Code Model

Expected to feature the GA102-225 GPU with 10,240 CUDA cores, the RTX 3080 Ti should come with 12GB of GDDR6X VRAM across a 384-bit memory bus. The listing partly confirms the memory specifications, as seen by the “12GD” nomenclature in all product codes listed by Gigabyte.

The RTX 3080 Ti is currently rumoured to launch alongside the RTX 3070 Ti in May 2021. Discuss on our Facebook page, HERE.

KitGuru says: Gigabyte's EEC listing further strengthens the rumour about a release of the RTX 3080 Ti in May, but considering the previous listing, it's better to be cautious. Are you waiting for the RTX 3080 Ti before upgrading? Do you think the RTX 3080 Ti will have better stock at launch compared to other recently released GPUs?
