MSI announces Summit E Flip laptops powered by “Next Gen” GeForce RTX graphics

MSI has introduced its new Summit E Flip series of business laptops. Featuring Tiger Lake-U processors and up to an RTX 3050 laptop GPU, the series consists of two thin convertible laptops: the E13 Flip Evo and the E16 Flip.

The MSI Summit E13 Flip Evo is a compact laptop featuring an “IPS-level” 13-inch screen with a 16:10 aspect ratio. As the name suggests, this laptop is certified by the Intel Evo program for enhanced compatibility with the Intel platform. The 16-inch version isn't Evo certified, but it does come with “next gen Nvidia GeForce RTX series graphics”, which presumably means the RTX 3050.

Both MSI Summit laptops will feature up to 11th Gen Core i7 Tiger Lake-U CPUs and Intel Xe integrated graphics. Moreover, these laptops will also support Wi-Fi 6E connectivity, USB-C 4.0, and Thunderbolt 4.

The Summit E Flip laptops come with an aluminium chassis and a 360º hinge to convert them into a tablet. Adding that to the 16:10 aspect ratio of the screens makes them a versatile device to work with. To further enhance the tablet experience, these laptops support the MSI Pen.

With up to 20 hours of battery life, these laptops may handle a full workday without charging them. When you do need to juice it up, fast-charging is supported, providing 2.5 hours of battery life in 15 minutes.
