Microsoft announces more Xbox Game Pass titles for April

Xbox Game Pass subscribers have a few more games to look forward to this month. To cap off April, Microsoft has six more games coming to the library across PC, console and cloud, including Sony-developed MLB The Show 21.

Aside from new games joining the library, Microsoft is also expanding on a feature it implemented earlier this month. At this point, backwards compatible Xbox and Xbox 360 titles can be streamed using Xbox Game Streaming and to improve the experience on smartphones, Microsoft has its own touch controls overlay. Six new games now support touch controls through Xbox Cloud Gaming – Banjo Kazooie, Battle Chasers: Nightwar, Killer Queen Black, Overcooked! 2, Wreckfest and Double Dragon Neon.

As for the new games coming to Xbox Game Pass before the end of this month, that list includes:

  • MLB The Show 21 (April 20th, Cloud and Console)
  • Phogs! (April 22nd, PC)
  • Second Extinction (April 28th, Cloud, Console and PC)
  • Destroy All Humans! (April 29th, Cloud, Console and PC)
  • Fable III (April 30th, Cloud)
  • Fable Anniversary (April 30th, Cloud)

Soon, we'll see Microsoft announce the first wave of Xbox Game Pass titles for May 2021, although it may end up being a quieter month, as in June, E3 will take place and Xbox will assuredly be saving some major Game Pass announcements for the event.
