Cyberpunk 2077 DLCs and expansions still on the way

While CD Projekt Red has decided to “reconsider” its plans for a standalone Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer game, the studio is not dropping future plans for additional single-player content, with free DLCs and expansions still on the way.

Speaking on a conference call with investors, CD Projekt's Senior VP of business development, Michał Nowakowski, noted that while pricing and specific DLCs have not been announced yet, the studio is “working on them”.

This lines up with a recent leak that came via datamining on the Epic Games Store, which showed the following DLCs listed: Ripperdocs Expansion, Body Shops Expansion, Fashion Forward Expansion, Gangs of Night City, Body of Chrome, The Relic, Rides of the Dark Future, Neck Deep, Night City Expansion, and Expansion Pass.

Speaking with IGN, a CD Projekt Red spokesperson said that these are not the names of future DLCs for Cyberpunk 2077, so nothing is official just yet. Hopefully after the next major patch, CD Projekt Red will finally be able to start talking about future content, rather than bug fixes for the base game.

Aside from DLCs and expansions, CD Projekt Red is also planning to deliver a next-gen enhancement patch for Cyberpunk 2077 on Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 consoles in the second half of this year.

KitGuru Says: I'm still hopeful that in a year's time, Cyberpunk 2077 will be the polished and fleshed out game we all wanted to see. As for future DLCs and expansions, what would you like to see added into the game?
