iiyama GB2770QSU features QHD/165Hz panel and Fast IPS technology

The team at iiyama is getting into Fast IPS gaming displays with the iiyama GB2770QSU. The latest monitor has a 165Hz refresh rate, QHD resolution and is certified for HDR, delivering a solid selection of technologies to enhance gaming.

The Fast IPS QHD panel of the iiyama GB2770QSU has a 165Hz refresh rate and a 0.5ms MPRT. The monitor is certified by VESA as DisplayHDR 400 and has a typical brightness of 400nits and a static contrast ratio of 1000:1. The panel features a 8-bit colour depth, allowing it to display up to 16.7M colours.

The GB2770QSU supports FreeSync Premium Pro, which adjusts refresh rates to avoid screen tearing and stuttering. It also supports Low Frame Compensation (LFC), allowing gameplay to appear a bit smoother when frame rates start to buckle.

Other gaming-oriented features of the GB2770QSU include Black Tuner to change the brightness in darker areas without over saturating, and various colour presets adapted to multiple game genres. Like most modern monitors, it also features flicker-free technology and a low blue light mode.

For connectivity, you get 1x HDMI port, 1x DisplayPort, a 3.5mm audio jack, and 2x USB ports. There are two 2W speakers built in for audio and the included stand offers tilt, pivot, and height adjustment.
