Dead by Daylight has successfully brought in many of the horror genre’s biggest killers, including Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, Pyramid Head and more. Now, it has been announced that the next villain to make its way to the multiplayer survival game will be from the Resident Evil franchise.
Resident Evil has created many terrifying enemies over the years. From Mr. X, to Nemesis, to the licker and more, Resident Evil monsters have been terrorising players for 25 years. As part of last night's Resident Evil Showcase, it was announced that Resident Evil would be crossing over with Dead by Daylight.
Arriving in June, a new chapter to Dead by Daylight will go live. While not much is known about the crossover currently, it is safe to assume that one of the franchise’s seminal enemies will be making their way into Dead by Daylight.
While very little else is known, the team confirmed that more details will be revealed on the 25th of May, when Dead by Daylight will be celebrating its 5th anniversary. This isn't the first video game horror franchise to see representation in Dead by Daylight.
Back in June of last year, Pyramid head from the Silent Hill franchise, was added to the list of now more than 20 killers in Dead by Daylight. With two of gaming's biggest horror franchises soon to be represented, it will be interesting to see who will be added next to Dead by Daylight.
