Due to the global pandemic, Computex is staying virtual this year, with a number of companies announcing new tech through online events. Seasonic is now exception, with the company unveiling its own ‘virtual online web-show' and announcing new power supplies and even a new case.
The Seasonic PRIME series of power supplies is about to expand, with Seasonic announcing the PRIME TX-1600, PRIME PX-1600 and the PRIME TX-1300. All three new power supplies are rated as 80Plus Platinum or Titanium, offering the best efficiency possible, as well as high wattage for powerful systems.
Seasonic has also announced the new Focus SPX and Focus SGX series of power supplies, focussing on those who need a smaller unit for a more compact PC build. Both units measure in at 125mm x 100mm x 63.5mm (LxWxH), and offer 80Plus Gold or Platinum efficiency. If you do end up switching to a larger ATX case, then an SFX to ATX mounting adapter and extra screws are included.
Seasonic is primarily known for its power supplies, but the company has also begun dabbling in PC cases in recent years. The Seasonic ARCH Q50 is the latest, designed to be compatible with the Seasonic CONNECT module for easy installation and wiring. You can explore a full 3D model of this case to get a closer look at it, HERE.
Finally, the Seasonic SYNCRO Q70, which we reviewed late last year, has gone on to win two major design awards – the Red Dot Design Award 2021 and the IF Design Award 2021.
The Seasonic Virtual Online web-show will be running through all of June. If you fancy taking a look for yourself, you can find it, HERE.
