A new report claims that AMD will be releasing both the first RDNA 3 graphics cards and Zen 4 processors “around the same time”, in late 2022. The report further tells us that RDNA 3 will be taped out in late 2021.
According to the release date reported by @Broly_X1, there's still a long way to go before AMD releases Zen 4 processors, giving plenty of time for AMD to refresh the Zen 3 line-up while we wait.
AMD has recently shared a prototype of an AMD Ryzen 5900X featuring a new 3D stacking technology offering up to 25% more gaming performance over the non-stacked Ryzen 9 5900X. Considering the performance gains, we may end up seeing a refreshed Zen 3 line-up using AMD's new 3D chiplet design.
Q4 2022

AMD's latest CPU and GPU architecture roadmaps have always suggested a close release for Zen 4 and RDNA 3. Narrowing things down further though, it looks like these launches will be happening in Q4 2022.
The release of both architectures at “around the same time” is similar to what AMD did with the Radeon RX 6000 series GPUs and the Ryzen 5000 series CPUs. Back in November, both product lines launched within 10-days of each other, with the CPUs coming on November 8th and the GPUs on November 18th.

KitGuru says: A two-year period between the release of AMD's current and new CPU and GPU architectures is above average. However, considering the ongoing chip shortage, we are not surprised that we will have to wait a bit longer to see a new generation of processors and graphics cards.
