S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chernobyl gameplay trailer revealed at E3 2021

It has been four years since GSC Game World revealed that it was working on Stalker 2 again. Now during E3, the game has finally had a proper reveal and better yet, it'll be coming to Xbox Game Pass on day one.

Last night during the Xbox and Bethesda E3 showcase, Stalker 2 was revealed with its first official gameplay trailer. As you can likely already tell by the graphical fidelity the developers are pushing for, this game won't be coming to last-gen consoles like the Xbox One. Instead, it'll be a timed Xbox Series X/S and PC exclusive.

The game is set to feature “epic cutscenes and underground labs to open-world fields”, so expect a big nice map and lots of action along the way.

Stalker 2 is set to release on the 28th of April 2022 and it'll be available on Xbox Game Pass for console and PC on day-one. The game may eventually be released on PlayStation consoles but for now, it appears to be a 3-month ‘launch window' exclusive for Xbox.

KitGuru Says: We've been following Stalker 2's development for years now, so it is great to finally see the game in action. Are many of you looking forward to this next year? What did you think of the gameplay trailer?
