Nintendo's E3 Direct stream didn't bring us any Nintendo Switch Pro news, but it did bring us a brand new look at The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2. The highly anticipated sequel is targeting a 2022 release date and will expand the world of Hyrule even further.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 2 will be set in the same world as the first game, but this time around, there are floating islands in the sky that Link can glide between to get around.
The trailer also gives us a look at new abilities and gear Link can use to tackle dungeon challenges, combat and exploration. Unfortunately, with the trailer only being 1:40 long, we don't get much gameplay to pick apart and analyse.
The sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild does not have a final release date yet, but the game is planned to launch in 2022.
KitGuru Says: So far, it looks like we're getting more Breath of the Wild, although Nintendo is starting to tease some unique elements to the sequel. What did you all think of the Breath of the Wild 2 trailer?
