Pros:
- Good build quality and aesthetics.
- Affordable price point vs competition.
- IPS display, good viewing angles.
Cons:
- No adjustable height from the additional magnetic stand.
- Touchpads don’t depress evenly and are too large.
- No XLR out ports for speakers, only one 3.5mm line out port.
- Software is sluggish and mic metre is almost useless.
- Limited custom options within the software such as sub-mix linking and adjusting widget size.
KitGuru says: We think AVerMedia really tried to push against the competition here and make a one-stop shop for live streamers but, sadly, there’s just too many frustrating design and software choices made. We'd recommend that you wait and either see how their firmware updates improve the system or whether they bring out a version 2.
