Mountain Everest Max Base Camp upgraded with OBS Studio integration

Mountain burst onto the peripheral scene last year with a Kickstarted keyboard, the Everest Max, which earned our Worth Buying award last year. Now today, the Everest Max is getting even better for content creators, thanks to integration with OBS Studio.

Starting with version 1.0.36 of Mountain's Base Camp software, OBS Studio is now integrated, allowing Everest Max keyboard users to set up custom key bindings to easily access OBS functions. The Everest Max is a perfect keyboard for this thanks to its surplus of available buttons, allowing streamers to ditch complex hotkeys in favour of quicker access to various stream settings.

Speaking on bringing OBS Studio support to Base Camp, Tobias Brinkmann, founder and CEO of Mountain, said: “MOUNTAIN is all about user-centric design, which has us laser-focused on the needs and wants of gamers and content creators. Gaming and streaming go hand in hand, and OBS is the gold standard for streamers. We’re happy to integrate OBS Studio controls to offer MOUNTAIN users easy access to all the tools they need in an easy-to-use package with Base Camp”.

Setting up OBS Studio key bindings in Base Camp is easy, in fact, Mountain has the whole process broken down into nine steps. You can view the setup guide, HERE.
