EA Play Live is coming up later this month and while we don't know specifically which games will appear during the show, we do have some disappointing news on games that won't be there. This week, BioWare confirmed that it won't be part of EA's upcoming live show.
In an announcement, BioWare confirmed that while it is continuing to work on Mass Effect, Dragon Age and even a new Star Wars: The Old Republic expansion, the studio won't be showing any of this at EA Play Live.
EA first unveiled Dragon Age 4 back at The Video Game Awards in 2018 but since then, very little has been shown outside of concept art and a very short teaser trailer with no gameplay. While it is assumed that the next Mass Effect game is still several years away, Dragon Age should be much further along at this point.
EA Play Live is taking place on the 22nd of July at 6PM BST. We should see more of Battlefield 2042 during this event, in addition to updates on sports games and perhaps a surprise or two, as EA's Motive and Respawn studios are reportedly working on Dead Space and a sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order respectively.

KitGuru Says: Any time an EA summer showcase lacks anything from BioWare, there is going to be some disappointment. Hopefully we'll get an update on the next Dragon Age before the end of 2021.
