MSI is revamping the Alpha 15/17 laptops with Ryzen 5000H processors and Radeon RX 6600M mobile GPUs. Moreover, MSI is also launching a brand new laptop, the light and slim Delta 15, also with Ryzen 5000H processors and the Radeon RX 6700M mobile GPU.
As part of the AMD Advantage lineup, both the new Alpha and Delta laptops are geared with the latest AMD CPUs and GPUs, supporting AMD SmartShift, Radeon Anti-lag, Radeon Image Sharpening and Smart Access Memory.
The main difference between the Alpha 15 and 17 are their dimensions and displays. Both come with IPS-level panels with a 144Hz refresh rate and FullHD resolution, but one is a 15-inch model while the other is a 17-inch. As for the Delta 15, it sports a 15.6-inch IPS-level panel with FullHD resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate.
Memory and storage configurations of the new MSI laptops are similar, featuring 2x memory for up to 64GB of DDR4-3200 memory and 2x PCIe 3.0 M.2 slots for NVMe storage. Additionally, each Alpha and Delta laptop packs an RGB backlit gaming keyboard and a pair of 2W speakers featuring Nahimic 3 Audio Enhancer and support for High-Resolution Audio.
The Delta 15 has a USB-C 3.2 Gen2 port (DP alt. mode), a USB-C 3.2 Gen2 port, and 2x USB-A 3.2 Gen2 ports, and support for Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6E. The Alpha 15/17 models have a USB-C 3.2 Gen1 port (DP alt. mode), 2x USB-A 3.2 Gen1 ports, a USB-A 2.0 port, a 1GB LAN port, and support Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi 6.
