This weekend, 343 Industries kicked off the first technical preview for Halo Infinite, inviting players to participate in multiplayer matches early in order to gather feedback. While this preview is multiplayer only, dataminers have discovered some single-player content buried in the files.
These story details are already beginning to circulate on Reddit and 343 Industries has confirmed that the leak is legitimate. Some campaign files were “unintentionally included” in this preview build.
Speaking on the leak, 343 Industries' Joseph Staten, said: “Hey folks, heads up: we unintentionally included a small number of Halo Infinite campaign files in the tech preview build. Unfortunately, these files contain spoilers. Leaks like this are painful for the dev team and can ruin the campaign experience for everyone. So please, keep you eyes peeled for spoilers and don't spread them if you see them.”
The leak does include story beats from throughout the campaign. Story spoilers weren't the only thing to leak though, some planned multiplayer modes have also seemingly been revealed, although 343 Industries is likely going to be issuing DMCA claims against pages hosting these leaks.
