HP X32 gaming monitor packs a 32-inch QHD IPS panel with a 165Hz refresh rate

HP is launching a new display to join the ranks of the 32-inch WQHD gaming monitors. Simply named X32, the new HP gaming monitor has an understated design without the characteristic gaming aesthetics. However, its specifications are pretty decent, offering a 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time for a smooth gaming experience.

Featuring a 32-inch IPS panel with a 10-bit colour depth (8-bit + FRC), 2560×1440 resolution, and 1ms G2G response time, the X32 has a 1000:1 contrast ratio and a peak brightness of 400nits, covering 99% of the sRGB colour space. Additionally, it supports AMD FreeSync Premium in the 60–165Hz range for a smooth gaming experience.

The HP X32 was designed to meet the TÜV Rheinland Eyesafe standards, protecting the user's eyes from blue light without affecting colour accuracy when the low blue light mode is enabled. Moreover, it's compatible with the latest gaming consoles, allowing users to simply plug and play, and supports Omen Gaming Hub, allowing users to customise the monitor settings more conveniently. As an alternative, users can also adjust them through the OSD.

The included stand lets users tilt the monitor and adjust its height, but like most modern monitors, it supports VESA 100x100mm monitor arms if the user wishes to further adjust it. Available connectivity ports include a 3.5mm audio jack, a DisplayPort 1.4, and an HDMI 2.0 port.

The HP X32 is coming soon, priced at £349.99. Discuss on our Facebook page, HERE.
