Razer announces Zephyr RGB mask and beta sign-ups

During CES 2021, Razer announced its own N95 mask under the name “Project Hazel”. Now, the mask is becoming a real product, named Razer Zephyr, and a beta test will also be taking place ahead of launch in Q4 2021.

It's unclear when beta testers will receive their masks, but we do know that some design changes have been made since the initial prototype unveiling. In the video below we can see that the mask is now wider and rounder, and also appears to feature an extra vent in the chin area. The RGB rings also seem to be larger.

The rechargeable active ventilators will offer high bacterial filtration efficiency Smart Pods that control airflow. Featuring a transparent design, anyone can see the users' expressions much easier compared to a traditional N95 mask. The mask also features RGB-lit halos surrounding the ventilators, customisable through Razer Chroma. Moreover. It also uses Razer VoiceAmp technology, consisting of a built-in microphone and an amplifier, to improve communication when wearing the mask.

Anyone interested in signing up for Zephyr's beta can do so, HERE.

KitGuru says: Since its announcement, Zephyr has grown and evolved into a full-fledged product. Will you sign up for Zephyr's beta program?
