Back in June, we learned that Call of Duty would be skipping E3 again this year, with Activision planning to reveal the next major game in the series through Warzone. Things have been quiet since then, but according to reports, we'll be getting the long-awaited reveal next week.
According to ModernWarzone, the Call of Duty: Vanguard reveal will be happening on the 19th of August. This will be taking place within Warzone, similarly to how last year's title, Black Ops Cold War, was revealed through the “know your history” event in Warzone.
The next Call of Duty, currently known as Call of Duty WWII Vanguard, is being developed by Sledgehammer games and will tell an alternative history story through its campaign. Previous leaks also point to us getting a brand new Warzone map alongside this game, which will be the “largest and most ambitious” to date.
Currently, Call of Duty Vanguard is expected to release in November 2021 for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4 and PS5.

KitGuru Says: Even if the campaign and multiplayer modes turn out to be duds, at the very least, a new Call of Duty means a big shakeup for Warzone, which should be exciting. Are any of you looking forward to this year's Call of Duty?
