Call of Duty: Vanguard beta and PC system requirements announced

Call of Duty: Vanguard is a couple of months away from release, but we'll have the chance to check it out much sooner. Today, Sledgehammer Games announced that the beta for the game will be taking place this month, alongside PC system requirements for the game.

As part of Activision's on-going deal with Sony, PlayStation players will get access to the beta first, starting from the 10th of September until the 13th. After that, the PlayStation open beta and the pre-order beta for PC and Xbox players will kick off from the 16th to 17th of September. The beta fully opens up to all players on all platforms from the 18th to the 20th of September.

Those playing on PC will want to check the PC system requirements, which are a tad higher than last year's. Here are the minimum PC system requirements:

  • CPU: Intel Core i5-2500K or AMD Ryzen 5 1600X
  • RAM: 8GB
  • GPU: GTX 1050 Ti or Radeon R9 380
  • Storage: 45GB

The recommended system requirements include:

  • CPU: Intel Core i7-4770K or AMD Ryzen 7 1800X
  • RAM: 16GB
  • GPU: GTX 1660 or Radeon RX Vega 56
  • Storage: 45GB

These are the system requirements for the beta, so we may see some adjustments for the final game ahead of release.
