Logitech G has recently unveiled the Logitech G309 Lightspeed wireless gaming mouse. This mouse uses a dual-wireless connection, precise tracking, and reliable performance, all packed into a newly designed form factor, ensuring appeal for a wide range of users.
Featuring a power-efficient Hero 25K sensor, the G309 offers over 300 hours of continuous gameplay at a 1ms report rate in Lightspeed mode with a single AA battery. When switched to Bluetooth mode, the mouse's battery life extends to more than 600 hours using the same type of battery. Despite its advanced technology, the Logitech G309 Lightspeed is relatively lightweight and compact. Using an AA battery, it weighs around 86 grams (18 grams from the AA battery). Alternatively, powering the mouse via Logitech's Powerplay wireless charging system reduces the mouse's weight to a mere 68 grams.
Incorporating Logitech G's Lightspeed wireless technology and the Hero 25K sensor, the mouse supports sensitivity up to 25,600 DPI with no acceleration or smoothing. Additionally, the Lightspeed technology allows users to connect two Lightspeed-compatible devices to a single receiver using the Device Pairing Tool in G Hub. This mouse can also be paired with Logitech gaming keyboards using the same receiver.
The Logitech G309 Lightspeed is equipped with Logitech G's Lightforce hybrid optical-mechanical switches, offering speed, durability, and optical actuation with a mechanical-like response. Available in black and white, the Logitech G309 Lightspeed Wireless gaming mouse is now available for £79.99/$79.99/€89,99.

KitGuru says: Considering a Powerplay mousepad costs over £100, those who plan to get both the mouse and the mousepad can expect to spend around £200 for both. The other option is ignoring Powerplay and buying the £80 mouse alone, but in that case, you'll need to power it using an AA battery.
