Earlier this week, we heard whispers that the next Halo Infinite multiplayer test would be taking place in October. As it turns out, 343 Industries will be holding another test even sooner, confirming plans to hold another public playtest this month.
Over on the official Halo Twitter account, 343 confirmed that the next multiplayer preview is planned to arrive on the 24th of September and anyone that registers as a Halo Insider by September 13th will be eligible to participate. We don't know if every single Halo Insider account holder will get an invite, but it seems that 343 is aiming high for this preview, so there should be more players in general compared to the previous playtest.
Beyond bringing more players in, the next Halo Infinite multiplayer preview will also grant access to new modes that weren't accessible in the previous test. This time around, we'll get full PvP Arena, complete with a new map. The developers are also hoping to test the Big Team Battle mode as well.
In a separate tweet, Halo community manager, Brian Jarrard, noted that the goal is to be able to invite all Halo Insiders that have signed up by the 13th. However, if millions of people suddenly register, then it is unlikely that everyone will get in. If you aren't already registered as a Halo Insider, you can do so, HERE.
Halo Infinite will have more public playtests in the run up to release. The full game, including both campaign and multiplayer modes, will be launching on the 8th of December for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
KitGuru Says: The last multiplayer preview was very fun, so I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for another invite this month. How many of you are signed up to the Halo Insider program?
