It has been a few days since Remedy confirmed that Alan Wake Remastered is on the way, although for a game so close to release, it was odd that the studio didn't also have a trailer to go with the announcement. As it seems, Remedy was holding back with its initial announcement, saving the trailer and release date announcement for the PlayStation Showcase.
Last night during the PlayStation Showcase, Alan Wake Remastered was officially shown with a new trailer, combining cinematic and gameplay clips. The game appearing at the PlayStation Showcase is noteworthy, as the original release was an Xbox 360 and PC exclusive, making this the first time that the game will be playable on a PlayStation console.
Throughout this game, players will take on the role of Alan Wake, a troubled author desperately searching for his wife in the small town of Bright Falls. That's the basic premise, but there is far more going on here than first meets the eye, so expect twists and turns along the way.
Alan Wake Remastered also includes all previous story DLCs, so you'll be getting the complete package. The game is releasing on the 5th of October for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
KitGuru Says: Alan Wake Remastered is less than a month away from release. Will any of you be picking this one up?
