Microsoft and Gucci releasing a $10,000 Xbox Series X console bundle

In what seems to be an unexpected partnership, Microsoft and Gucci have teamed up to launch a limited-edition Xbox Series X console. The console comes in a special Xbox|Gucci carrying case, 2x Gucci-themed Xbox Series X wireless controllers and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, all for $10,000.

The customised controllers will come in black with a red and blue stripe inspired by the House Web, with the Gucci logo printed below the analogue sticks. Besides its aesthetics, it looks like any other standard Xbox Series X wireless controller. For $10,000, an upgrade to custom Elite Series 2 controllers would have been a smart move.

Moving to the console itself, it's covered with a laser-cut GG monogram, representing both Gucci's name and “Good Game”. As for the carrying case, it's mainly beige with yellow accents, presenting the red and blue stripes from the controller and the GG pattern from the console. Moreover, it has one side featuring ‘XBOX' written in the brand's characteristic green, and the other with ‘GOOD GAME' printed in the same colour.

The special edition Xbox Series X Gucci console will have its production limited to 100 units and will be available for purchase starting November 17th.

KitGuru says: It might not be suited for everyone's taste or budget, but at the very least, the Gucci Xbox stands out from other limited edition versions of the console.
