Halo Infinite Multiplayer is available right now

After many rumours over the weekend, today during the Xbox 20th Anniversary stream, 343 Industries announced that it is indeed launching Halo Infinite Multiplayer today. The multiplayer is technically in beta, but it is a fully open beta, with all content unlocked and available across all platforms.

Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC gamers can now download and install Halo Infinite's multiplayer free of charge. Better yet, there are no other restrictions, like needing a Game Pass subscription and on PC, you can dive straight in on your platform of choice, whether its the Windows Store or Steam.

With Halo Infinite Multiplayer launching today, players will get access to Season 1 Battle Pass content immediately. When the game leaves beta on the 8th of December, all of your progress will carry forward, so you can start playing without worrying about starting over from scratch.

While there was a rumour that we may also get a Halo Infinite campaign demo today, that has turned out not to be the case. Those only interested in Halo Infinite's single-player mode will have to wait until launch on the 8th of December.
