THQ Nordic 10th Anniversary brings announcements, free games and sales

THQ Nordic is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a showcase featuring new game announcements, offering free games to Steam users and special sales on multiple games available on Steam, Microsoft Store, Nintendo Store, PlayStation Store and Google Stadia.

Until September 23rd, THQ Nordic will be Steam's publisher of the week, meaning you can grab new games at massively discounted prices. Out of a myriad of games, some of these titles include Destroy All Humans!, Biomutant, Wreckfest, Desperados III, SpongeBob Battle for Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated, Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning, the Darksiders series and the SpellForce series. PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Nintendo Store and Google Stadia will also have similar discounted games available throughout the week.

Steam users will also be allowed to claim two free games during this week too. If you were planning to get Titan Quest Anniversary Edition or Jagged Alliance Gold Edition, you can now claim both for free until September 23rd. Moreover, Desperados III will also be available to play for free until September 20th.

Besides the sales and free games, THQ Nordic is also holding a showcase event, where it will further detail ELEX II and CRPG Expeditions: Rome and announce six new games. These new game announcements will include a mix of returning franchises, sequels and some new IP.

Hosted by Geoff Keighley, the THQ Nordic 10th-anniversary showcase event will be broadcasted later today, at 12:00 PM PST/ 08:00 PM BST via Twitch, YouTube and Steam.
