In recent weeks, we've seen a number of benchmark results for the upcoming Intel Core i9-12900K, mostly coming from the Ashes of the Singularity database. Today, we seem to have the first Cinebench R23 result for the same processor, showing higher performance than a Ryzen 9 5950X.
The screenshots shared by @hw_reveal (via VideoCardz) show an undisclosed processor scoring 30,549 on Cinebench R23. The motherboard's name and some processor details were covered, but if you zoom at the image, you can see that the processor's name in the task manager window is “12th Gen Intel Core i9-12900K”.
Until now, we haven't yet seen a CPU-Z screenshot with this processor. Looking at the specifications, they corroborate what we've come to expect from the 12th Gen Core i9 CPU, a 16C/24T processor with a 125W TDP and 30MB of L3 cache. The 5.3GHz clock speed also matches the rumours about the maximum clock speed of this processor.

The system was using a Gigabyte Aorus Z690 Ultra motherboard, supporting PCIe 5.0, and packed 32GB of DDR5-5200 memory in quad-channel. The quad-channel suggests the motherboard had two modules equipped, each with 2x 32-bit memory channels.
With 30,549 points scored in Cinebench R23, the Core i9-12900K outperformed the Ryzen 9 5950X at stock settings by about 5%. Once the Ryzen 9 processor is overclocked, scores are about the same.

KitGuru says: Although these results seem promising, it's worth mentioning that a few things seemed a bit off. The voltage reading, for example, was extremely low considering the 5.3GHz speed. This might be because CPU-Z still isn't fully compatible with hybrid processors, or maybe someone forgot to edit that part.
