ViewSonic’s new 32-inch gaming monitor boasts 4K resolution at 150Hz

We've seen a number of 27-inch and 28-inch 4K/UHD 144Hz gaming monitors in recent years, as well as much larger 40+ inch models. Now, we're starting to see more 32-inch options, with the latest coming from ViewSonic, boasting a 32-inch UHD panel with a 150Hz refresh rate.

Using a 32-inch IPS panel with 4K resolution, the XG320U allows gamers to play with a maximum refresh rate of 150Hz (OC) with response times of just 1ms MPRT. Typical brightness is rated at 400nits, but it should peak at least at 600nits, given that this monitor is certified with VESA DisplayHDR 600. The contrast ratio was not disclosed, but as an IPS-based monitor, it should be around 1000-1500:1.

With a 99% colour coverage and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, the XG320U should be able to deliver a colour-rich and tear-free gaming experience. On the back of the monitor, there's an RGB ambient light that you can configure. Moreover, the monitor comes with a cable mouse anchor and a headphone hook that should help keep the table free of clutter.

The XG320U is TÜV-certified for eye comfort, giving users some peace of mind when playing long gaming sessions with it. To connect the monitor to a computer, you may use the DisplayPort or HDMI 2.1. Additional connection ports include USB-A ports, a USB-B upstream port and audio-out. The included stand offers tilt, swivel, and height adjustments to better position the monitor to the user's liking.

The ViewSonic XG320U is launching this month and should be priced at $999.99. Discuss on our Facebook page, HERE.
