November’s PS Now games announced

Each month, Sony adds a number of titles to its ever expanding PlayStation Now game subscription service. Hot on the heels of the service’s 50% off sale, November’s PS Now games have been announced.

The PlayStation Now line-up for November is as follows:

  • Mafia: Definitive Edition (Available until the 28th of February 2022)
  • Totally Reliable Delivery Service
  • Final Fantasy IX
  • Celeste

Headlining November’s additions is Mafia: Definitive Edition. Available on the service until the 28th of February 2022, Mafia Definitive Edition is a fully rebuilt remake of the classic 2002 Mobster video game, whenin “After a run-in with the mob, cab driver Tommy Angelo is thrust into a deadly underworld. Initially uneasy about falling in with the Salieri crime family, Tommy soon finds that the rewards are too big to ignore.”

Totally Reliable Delivery Service offers an “interactive sandbox world” allowing you and your friends to deliver parcels by any means necessary, all the while navigating wacky physics.

Final Fantasy IX needs no introduction, being the final entry in the classic JRPG franchise developed for the PS1. Of course, this version features many enhancements over the PS1 original, including HD cutscene videos, trophy support and boosters.

The final game being added is Celeste. Originally an indie darling, the game saw great success both prior to and in the wake of the game’s many award nominations and victories. With tight precision platforming and an emotional soundtrack from composer Lena Raine, Celeste is an excellent addition to the service.

While PlayStation Now cannot compete with Game Pass when it comes to the sheer size and number of games, the service is significantly cheaper – with the recent sale reducing it to just £24.99 for the entire year. As such, within the scope of PS Now, this month has proven to be a solid one for the service.
