The Fallout TV series impressed fans around the world when it debuted just months ago. Fans are already eager to see a second season and the good news is, the production team has been hard at work on it already.
In the current streaming landscape, there are often popular, expensive shows that go on multi-year breaks, breaking out of the annual cycle we became used to after decades of network TV dominance. It seems Fallout won't be falling into that trap, as the second season is already well underway.
Speaking with Variety, producers Jennifer Salke and Vernon Sanders said that the new season is “ahead of schedule”, with completed scripts already in-hand. The pair also confirm that the series won't be shifting to the ‘anthology' format as rumoured. Given the events of the first season, which heavily implies a continued story with the current cast, I'm not sure why that was a rumour in the first place, but at least the record has been set straight.
The news comes after it was confirmed that Fallout has been nominated for as many as 17 Emmy award nominations. There is still no release date for Fallout's second season, but we'll keep our fingers crossed for 2025.

KitGuru Says: The first season was excellent and after the tease from the end credits, many fans of the games are excited for season 2 as well. Hopefully over time, we'll see more parts of the Fallout universe that have yet to be explored in the games.
