Fallout London was redeemed over half a million times in its first 24 hours

Following years of hype and a number of unfortunate and unforeseen delays, TeamFOLON’s Fallout London mod released late last month to high praise and a great deal of interest. It seems all the hard work by the team has paid off, as Fallout London managed to surpass 500,000 players in its first 24 hours.

In alignment with the mod’s most recent hotfix update, GOG – the primary partners for Fallout London’s hosting – published a press release thanking TeamFOLON and fans for the immediate success of Fallout London, saying:

“It’s only been 2 weeks since the expansion-sized total conversion mod for Fallout 4 debuted on our platform. Fallout: London, being an incredibly ambitious project, immediately took over the modding scene and brought in a variety of completely new experiences for Bethesda Game Studios’ legendary post-apocalyptic RPG.”

According to GOG, “In the first 24 hours, the mod was redeemed more than 500,000 times, making it the fastest redeemed game on GOG ever.”

Speaking on this milestone, TeamFOLON themselves had this to say: “We are blown away by the support for the project, and the amount of positivity we've received. Your feedback is instrumental in our continued efforts of troubleshooting and bug fixing, which we will continue until Fallout: London is as polished as it can be.”

With sentiment surrounding Bethesda Games Studios itself being far from its peak, it is encouraging to see the likes of TeamFOLON pouring their souls into Fallout London – and being rewarded for it.
