Godfall will also be free on the Epic Games Store

Recently, it was announced that PlayStation Plus subscribers would be getting their hands on Godfall: Challenger Edition for free. Fortunately, even if you do not have a PlayStation console, you can still acquire the game for free, as the looter-slasher will be free on the Epic Games Store next week.

Each week, the Epic Games Store offers a number of titles completely for free. Starting on the 9th of December, all those with an Epic Games account can get their hands on Godfall Challenger Edition as well as Prison Architect.

For the uninitiated, Godfall Challenger Edition is a slightly different game to the looter-slasher released late last year. This version “allows new players to experience the game’s trio of endgame modes, minus the story content of the base game and Fire & Darkness expansions, and grants existing players new exciting features and rewards to enjoy.”

The other title being offered is Prison Architect, a strategy game which has you build a prison capable of containing “the world’s most ruthless inmates” only for you to then “Attempt a high-stakes escape of your own supermax prison in Escape Mode, or try Online mode to test one of 12,000 player-created prisons. Expand your empire limitlessly in Sandbox mode.”

Both Prison Architect and Godfall Challenger Edition will be free to purchase and keep forever from the 9th of December until the 16th – at which point they will be replaced by as-of-yet-unknown titles. Until then, you can currently get your hands on Dead by Daylight and while True: learn[].
