Nine more titles come to Xbox Game Pass

The Xbox Game Pass subscription service offers a robust and ever-evolving library of games for a relatively small monthly fee. The next set of titles coming to the service has now been announced, and it includes a few heavy hitters.

As reported by XboxOn, 9 new titles are dropping onto the Xbox Game Pass service later this week. Coming on the 16th of December:

  • Lake
  • Firewatch
  • Broken Age
  • Mortal Kombat 11
  • The Gunk
  • Ben 10 Power Trip
  • Race With Ryan
  • PAW Patrol: Mighty Pups Save Adventure Bay
  • Transformers: Battlegrounds

The headlining game is undoubtedly Mortal Kombat 11. The latest entry in the classic fighting game franchise, MK11 allows you to perform the most brutal set of fatalities yet, all neatly packed in a well-rounded and refined AAA experience.

Other notable titles include Firewatch and Broken Age, two well-regarded indie titles which are still worth playing in 2021 and beyond – especially if you haven’t before. The other major addition is The Gunk.

Available as a day-one release, The Gunk is the latest game from developers Image & Form, known best for their highly-regarded SteamWorld franchise. The Gunk represents the team’s first new console IP since the release of the original SteamWorld in 2010. The Gunk is also the team’s most ambitious game to date, making its day-one Game Pass release a sweet deal.

All of these games will be available for Game Pass on Xbox, PC and mobile – via xCloud – on the 16th of December.
