ASRock has unveiled the latest additions to its gaming monitor line-up. The new models, PG27FFT1A and PG27FFT1B, offer identical technical specifications, with both packing the same 27-inch FHD Fast IPS panel. The main difference lies in the stand, one being fixed and the other offering tilt and swivel adjustments.
Under its gaming brand, Phantom Gaming, ASRock has unveiled the PG27FFT1A and PG27FFT1B, two FullHD gaming monitors with 27-inch Fast IPS flat panels featuring a 180Hz refresh rate and 1ms MPRT. With a 1000:1 contrast ratio, 450 nits of peak brightness and an 8-bit colour depth, these monitors can cover 123% of the sRGB and 94% of the DCI-P3 colour gamuts.
Like most modern monitors, they feature a low blue light mode and flicker-free technology. They're also VESA DisplayHDR 400-certified and support AMD Freesync. Moreover, they have a DisplayPort 1.2, two HDMI 2.0 ports, an earphone jack, and two built-in speakers.
The difference between these two monitors lies in their stand. While the PG27FFT1B has a fixed stand with no ergonomic adjustments, the PG27FFT1A's stand allows users to swivel and tilt the monitor for a better fit. However, if you already have a VESA 100×100 monitor arm, you can use it with either of these two monitors.
