Razer launches new BlackWidow V4 Pro 75% model

Razer has pulled back the curtains on the Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro 75%. This wireless, hot-swappable keyboard offers a slew of gaming-oriented features, including Razer HyperSpeed and 4K Hz Razer HyperPolling technology combined with an inbuilt OLED display for users to customise their experience.

The BlackWidow V4 Pro 75% OLED display can monitor information such as PC metrics and keyboard status or display custom animations or an audio meter. Users can also adjust keyboard settings through it, including polling rate, lighting effects, and power-saving options. Furthermore, when paired with the Razer Command Dial, the keyboard provides various control options, such as volume adjustment, zoom, and track selection.

The Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro 75% is compatible with Razer Synapse 4, ensuring access to all customisation options and the latest features. Featuring Razer HyperSpeed Wireless technology and Razer HyperPolling technology at up to 4K Hz, the BlackWidow V4 Pro 75% promises fast responsiveness and low latency. The keyboard also offers seamless connectivity, allowing users to connect to three different Bluetooth devices and easily switch between them. Moreover, it can maintain wireless connections while being charged via cable.

For a customized key feel, the keyboard features a hot-swappable design compatible with 3- and 5-pin mechanical switches (Razer Orange Tactile Switches Gen-3 included by default). Enthusiasts will appreciate the gasket-mounted white FR4 plate, plate foam, case foam, and screw-in stabilizers that are factory-lubricated with Krytox GPL 205g0 lubricant, delivering a pleasant typing sound with minimal rattling. The tape-enhanced PCB absorbs higher frequencies while reflecting lower ones for a more pleasing acoustic profile.

Adding to its appeal, the BlackWidow V4 Pro 75% features Razer Chroma RGB lighting that can be customised with the new standalone Razer Chroma software, allowing gamers to create lighting profiles tailored to their tastes. The fade-proof keycaps, made of Doubleshot PBT, were designed to increase backlight illumination, and the cushioned, magnetically attached wrist rest offers a premium look and comfortable feel for extended gaming sessions. The BlackWidow V4 Pro 75% also comes with a power-saving mode, offering up to 2100 hours of continuous gaming.

The Razer BlackWidow V4 Pro 75% is priced at $299.99/€349.99, and it is available for pre-order now, with general availability starting September 24, 2024.
