Netflix and Riot impressed us all with the debut of Arcane's first season. The animated series, based on the League of Legends IP, had a critically acclaimed run and now with season 2 just around the corner, Netflix has released a new sneak peek.
The first teaser trailer for Arcane Season 2 dropped back in January, which showed us very little. Months later, a November 2024 release date was confirmed. Now, we have our first Season 2 clip, giving us a proper look at what's to come.
Arcane's first season was praised for its both its animation and writing, with each episode being widely discussed online during the run. It also helps that the show did not require any previous League of Legends knowledge to jump into, so even those who have never played the game, like myself, could enjoy it from start to finish.
The first season debuted in November 2021, so it has been a pretty long wait for its return. The second season is landing on Netflix in November, three years on from the show's debut. If you want to go back and rewatch the first season, a special edition Blu-Ray set has also been announced, which comes in a fancy box set, with some extras thrown in for fans, including over three hours of bonus content that you won't find on Netflix.
