This week, the AOC G4309VX/D monitor was revealed, complete with a 43-inch 4K panel with DisplayHDR 1000 certification and 144Hz refresh rate.
This is a 43-inch VA panel, capable of 4K resolution at 144Hz with a 1ms response time. This monitor has also been DisplayHDR 1000 certified, putting it in the upper echelon of HDR monitors. The panel features a 10-bit colour depth (8-bit+FRC), 4000:1 contrast ratio and 720nits of brightness in SDR, and 1100nits of peak brightness in HDR.
These specifications allow the monitor to cover 100% of the sRGB spectrum, 92% of the NTSC colour space and 95% of the DCI-P3 gamut. Moreover, the monitor also features AMD Freesync Premium, support for PiP and PbP, and comes calibrated with a ΔE<2.
For connectivity, there's 2x HDMI 2.1 ports, 2x DisplayPorts 1.4, 4x USB 3.2 Gen1 and an audio-out jack. Thanks to HDMI 2.1, this monitor will also work best with Xbox Series X/S and PS5 consoles, allowing for 120Hz gameplay. For built-in audio, there are two 7W speakers. The included stand has tilt adjustment, but there is VESA 200x100mm mount support, so you can upgrade to a better third-party arm or mount with more adjustment capabilities.
This monitor has currently only been revealed in China, so we do not know if it will make its way to other territories.
