Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – Dawn of Ragnarök to release in March

Last week, we learned through leaks that Ubisoft is working on a massive expansion for Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Described as a 40-hour, God of War-like add-on. Now, we know much more about this expansion, which is titled ‘Dawn of Ragnarök'.

Following on from last week's leak, the expansion appeared on a Chinese web store before being removed. Folks on Reddit swiftly pulled screenshots and information from the listing, giving us a full description for the expansion and a release date.

The images above are screenshots from Dawn of Ragnarök, taking further inspiration from Norse mythology and taking place within the nine Norse realms. The expansion's description reads:

“Assassin's Creed: Valhalla”-Dawn of Ragnarök is the most ambitious expansion pack in the history of this series: this time, Aivor must personally experience the fate of Odin, the war of the North and the destiny of the god of wisdom. The world of mythology, shouldering the urgent task of saving children, unleashing the brand-new supernatural power of the thunderbolt. After this shocking Viking legend, save your own flesh and blood before the gods are swallowed by the catastrophe.”

Assassin's Creed: Valhalla – Dawn of Ragnarök is due to release on the 10th of March 2022, although Ubisoft has yet to officially announce the expansion or publicly confirm this release date.
