Nvidia’s RTX technology is mighty impressive, and has helped many PC players make the most of their Nvidia GPUs. Unfortunately, the company's RTX technology requires bespoke implementation on a game-by-game basis. Fortunately, 10 more games are now seeing support being added – including Hitman III.
In a recent blog post, the RTX technology creator revealed that almost a dozen games are set to get new or increased RTX support. The games in question are:
- The Day Before (DLSS & Ray Tracing)
- Rainbow Six Extraction (DLSS & Reflex)
- Escape From Tarkov (DLSS)
- SUPER PEOPLE (DLSS, RTXGI & Reflex)
- Hitman III (DLSS)
- Voidtrain (DLSS & Ray Tracing)
- The Anacrusis (DLSS)
- Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis (DLSS)
- Ratten Reich (DLSS & Ray Tracing)
- Midnight Ghost Hunt (DLSS & Reflex)
Nvidia confirmed that the upcoming Rainbow Six Extraction (which is coming to Game Pass day-one) will offer both DLSS and Nvidia’s Reflex low-latency technology – two important tools for improving performance in this co-op tactical shooter.
Other major wins include Escape from Tarkov and Hitman III seeing RTX support. Being older titles, there were no expectations, yet it has now been confirmed that DLSS is coming to both of these titles. In the case of Hitman III, the game will support both DLSS and ray-tracing – making for an attractive combination.
While it is unfortunate to see such impressive technology only available to Nvidia GPUs there is no denying that RTX features are always welcome. Hopefully even more games are added to the list of now over 150 titles.
