Kirby and the Forgotten Land is coming sooner than you think

Many fans were pleasantly surprised when Kirby and the Forgotten Land was first announced back in September 2021. Unlike a large majority of the pink Hero's outings, this latest entry is looking to be a wholly new adventure. The best part is, it's coming out sooner than you think.

Making the surprise announcement on Twitter, Nintendo said “Kirby’s back for an unforgettable adventure! Use the tough puff’s powerful copy abilities to defeat formidable foes and rescue the Waddle Dees when #Kirby and the Forgotten Land soars to #NintendoSwitch on March 25, 2022.”

Alongside this, the publisher released a brand new trailer showcasing just some of the many locales and biomes that Kirby will explore, including a snow land; desert world; abandoned cities; and so much more.

We will have to wait and see what the final game plays like, but the most recent trailer evokes similarities to Super Mario Odyssey combined with Super Mario 3D World –  which is ultimately a good thing.

Of course we will have to wait and see what the actual game is like when it releases. The trailer footage makes for a compelling game, but fortunately for Nintendo fans they won't have to wait long for confirmation of such, as Kirby and the Forgotten Land is coming to Switch on the 25th of March 2022.
