Job listing hints at PC release for Stellar Blade

Stellar Blade has been one of the biggest surprise hits of 2024 so far, with the debut title from Korean studio SHIFT UP proving to be a success on PS5, cementing the future of the studio. In the wake of many requests for a PC release, it seems the team are indeed working on a port for the game – alongside new content.

As discovered by Tech4Gamers forum member ‘cindiestarlight’, a new job listing posted by SHIFT UP for a ‘Combat Designer – PC Development’ seems to all-but-confirm that a PC port of Stellar Blade is in the works.

Additionally, another job listing – this time for a ‘Battle Designer – Monster Creation’ appears to hint at either future DLC for the game, or a full on Stellar Blade sequel.

Back in May, the team at SHIFT UP celebrated the success of Stellar Blade by claiming that they are considering a PC release for the game, as well as a sequel.

With many similarities shared between Stellar Blade and NieR: Automata, it is quite likely that the former could follow in the footsteps of the latter – success-wise – with a long set of legs aided by numerous re-releases to additional platforms.
