Pixio is back with a new gaming monitor for 2022, the PXC348C, built to deliver top-end gaming performance at an affordable price.
Equipped with a 34-inch curved (1500R) VA panel, the PXC348C has 3440×1440 resolution, 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms MPRT. Contrast is slightly above the average VA panel, with a 4000:1 ratio, and maximum brightness is rated at 450nits. As per the spec sheet, the monitor has an 8-bit colour depth and can cover 122% of the sRGB spectrum and 90% of the DCI-P3 gamut.
The PXC348C supports AMD FreeSync Premium and is G-Sync compatible, allowing users to enjoy tear-free gaming experiences regardless of whether the user has an AMD or Nvidia card. Moreover, it has a console mode and supports HDR content, but it didn't receive a VESA DisplayHDR certification.
On the back of the monitor, there's an RGB halo that you can configure to your liking. In addition, the monitor has 2x 2W speakers, a DisplayPort 1.4, 2x HDMI 2.0 ports, a USB-C port with 65W power delivery and a 3.5mm audio-out jack. The included stand is quite ergonomic, allowing users to tilt, pivot, swivel, and elevate or descend the screen. However, you can also use a compatible VESA 100×100 monitor arm to adjust its position further.
The PXC348C is available to pre-order from the US website for $449.99 and is backed by a 3-year warranty.
