Nvidia rolling out new RTX 3060 Ti with GA103 GPU

Following on from recent rumours around a new RTX 3060 Ti SKU, board partners have begun confirming the change. According to Zotac's website, the RTX 3060 Ti is now beginning to ship with a new die variant – the GA103-200 GPU. However, Zotac also appears to be the only board partner with this new SKU at the moment.

As @momomo_us spotted, there are now three different Zotac RTX 3060 Ti cards using GA103-200 dies. These are the Apocalypse, X-GAMING, and PGF models, which now have three different variants each (GA104-200, GA104-202 and GA103-200). At a glance, they all look the same, so to see which one is which, Zotac added “GOC-X” to the naming of the ones using a GA103 die.

Regardless of the die the graphics card model uses, they all have the same clock speeds and power requirements. We don't expect any performance difference from an RTX 3060 Ti card with a GA103-200 die. From what we know, the GA103 GPU features 7,680 CUDA cores, meaning that Nvidia disables 2,816 cores for it to be used on the RTX 3060 Ti cards.

For now, it seems that only the Chinese market has these RTX 3060 Ti cards, suggesting it might be exclusive to the region.
