Many praised the Gigabyte M27Q gaming monitor for offering fantastic performance at an affordable price. Now, the monitor is back with a panel upgrade, switching from a BGR panel to SuperSpeed IPS.
The 27-inch SS IPS panel used in the Gigabyte M27Q P sports 2560×1440 resolution, 165Hz refresh rate (overclocks to 170Hz) and 1ms of G2G response time. With a 10-bit (8-bit +FRC) colour depth, 1000:1 contrast ratio and 400nits of brightness, this monitor can cover 98% of the DCI-P3 colour gamut and meet the requirements to be VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified.
Like most gaming monitors of today, it supports AMD FreeSync Premium. Like the M27Q, it also features a built-in KVM switch, allowing you to control multiple devices connected to the monitor with the same keyboard and mouse. Other features of this monitor include OSD Sidekick software, Game Assist overlays, Black Equalizer, console mode, an auto-update tool and multiple picture modes. Additionally, the M27Q P is certified by TÜV Rheinland for its low blue light emission and flicker-free technology.
Available outputs include 2x HDMI 2.0 ports, a DisplayPort 1.4, a USB-C (DP alternate mode and up to 18W power delivery), 2x USB-A 3.0 ports, a USB upstream port and a 3.5mm audio jack. There's also a pair of 3W speakers if you don't have a sound system already. The included stand offers tilt and height adjustment, but users can swap it out with a compatible VESA 100x100mm monitor arm.
