ASUS ROG Fusion II 500 Gaming Headset Review

Rating: 7.0.

The ROG Fusion II 500 is the latest headset from ASUS and it is packed with features. With support for 7.1 Virtual Surround Sound, Hi-Res Audio and AI noise cancellation, it targets the audiophiles among gamers. But with a fairly hefty price tag of £200 here in the UK, is it music to our ears or just a bit of a racket?

Pros

  • Fantastic immersive audio.
  • Great RGB controls including Aura Sync.
  • Lots of software controls for sculpting audio.

Cons

  • Expensive.
  • Mostly plastic construction.
  • Poor quality audio from the beamforming microphone.

KitGuru says: The ASUS ROG Fusion II 500 offers good quality audio with Hi-Res certification. However, the mostly plastic construction and low quality microphone aren't at all what we'd expect from such a pricey headset.
